A bit about the Rockit Team.

Dave McGruddy (Director and owner)

Dave was brought up in Hawkes Bay and had the opportunity to travel the world before landing in Wellington about 19 years ago. He has worked as a Senior Recruitment Consultant over the past 17 years, and managed multiple accounts within both Government and private organisations. On a personal level he has four wonderful children, Amber, Holly, Harry and Charlie. On a professional level, Dave loves the chase of finding new opportunities, working with new clients and making the connection for both candidates and clients. He gets a real thrill out of seeing a positive outcome for people.

With the changes to the recruitment industry, Dave felt it was time to build a recruitment company that focuses on quality, instead of quantity. He has old fashioned values and believes the end to end process of recruitment should not be compromised. Dave wants to be proud of bringing traditional values with the use of new age technology. The team at Rockit is built around having common goals, working as a team, and individually enjoying what they do best!

Liam Daglish

Liam left Blighty to travel the globe and decided to swap the dark grey skies of the UK and set up shop here. Likes to spend his days off converting his campervan, surfing, biking, organising charity events for Malaria No More and travelling around NZ with friends.

Liam has a significant background in all things digital-Building effective partnerships with clients, Liam is responsible for gaining a balanced understanding of clients’s recruitment needs, then shaping solutions that deliver. Liam is a big advocate in not just finding the candidates but helping companies understand what drives and engages them to stay!
